  The 3x5 Club

You need to add a "our story" page.  Here you would reproduce your dad's account of his experience as a 10-year-old being challenged to read through the Bible in a year.
What about your insights surrounding "Why Your People Don't Know the Bible and How to Solve It"?  Should that be a page or column or section for pastors here on this main site?  Or should it be a separate (self-published) resource?
It seems to me that you should organize the web site around a series of "weekly"
pages.  Each week's page would be available to folks from a few days before the
beginning of the week through about a month after that week.  Once the page has
"expired," if you choose to go that route, you might move it over to the
following year's sub-domain.

Each week's page should have a title that might look something like this:Week OneGenesis 1 -
Leviticus 8 (or whatever)You would not attach specific dates to the pages
because of Leap Yaer.  But while the dates would change, the reading assignments
would always remain the same, 23 chapters per week.

Beneath the the title might be an SWF/Flash
file that features the quote for that week (i.e., Martin Luther, John Wesley,
John Calvin, etc. etc.

Then each page would
feature a teaching video; perahps also a "Good Book Review;" perhaps also a
"What to Watch For;" perhaps also a "Where is Christ?"
At the end of the year, you should have some deliberate recommendations for folks about follow-up:
feedback about the past year and how to improve The 3x5 Club
opportunity for quotes that can be used in reviews, or ratings
suggestions of other resources -- what's next?  what do I do once I've finished with this?
also, is there some method by which you could help folks give a subscription to The 3x5 Club for the next year as a GIFT to someone else?
As you develop your product and resources more and more fully, you'll want to consider adding layers for groups, Sunday School classes, congregations, Youth Groups, teens, couples, families with children, etc.

I'm envisioning a front page with SIX columns -- three above and three directly below.  The three
columns above would be titled "For Individuals," "For Pastors," and "For Youth
Ministers."  The three columns below would be titled "For Couples," "For
Families with Children," and then something else... The idea would be that you
would have a bit of written encouragement -- and perhaps a video encouragement
or testimonial -- to promote the resources available to that specific
demographic.

For Indiviuals

some written encouragement about what The 3x5 Club provides for each individual believer

For Pastors

Most church folks don't know the Bible as well as they should.  Indeed, most don't know it as well as they would like to.  The 3x5 Club gives them the sense of hope that they can actually learn God's Word for themselves.

For Youth Ministers

some written encouragement about what The 3x5 Club has to offer a youth ministry

For Couples

Husbands and wives have found that The 3x5 Club ia  meaningful adventure to undertake together!

Every experience is that much more enjoyable when we go through it together.  And our relationships are strengthened through shared experiences.  How much better, then, to make reading the Bible an experience that you share together as husband and wife.

For Families with Children

some written encouragement about what it looks like for the whole family to go through The 3x5 Club together

Some specific ideas to develop going forward

You'd want to develop a weekly resource with suggested discussion questions for groups/classes.  The idea would be to create a perhaps a separate site called "leaders.the3x5club.com" that would have its own access code.  It would cost more per year, though less per participant, or some such.  That site would provide weekly resources to help a pastor or teacher lead a class discussion, whether weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

Perhaps another site would be "family.the3x5club.com," which would also be a higher annual price but be utilized by everyone in the family.  This will require more thought, but the idea is that you would have resources specifically for married couples and for children.  Coloring pages come to mind.
